Christopher A. Szechenyi
President & Founder
Chris Szechenyi is a licensed investigator and an award-winning investigative journalist with ten years of experience uncovering securities fraud, anti-trust violations and qui tam cases on behalf of law firms, shareholders and taxpayers. For seven years he was director of investigations for Berman DeValerio in Boston before starting On Point Investigations.
Chris has interviewed thousands of witnesses, conducted dozens of detailed background checks and gathered evidence for many cases in support of complex civil litigation. He specializes in cultivating relationships with witnesses, obtaining their testimony in affidavits and using his analytical abilities to gather evidence and achieve results efficiently and cost effectively.
The cases he has investigated involve classic allegations of channel stuffing, premature revenue recognition, side letters and other GAAP violations as well as consumer fraud and violations of anti-trust laws. He has investigated the following publicly traded companies on behalf of plaintiffs:

Before becoming a private investigator, Chris was an investigative reporter, editor and producer for 20 years, producing stories for a wide variety of media outlets including 60 Minutes and Dateline NBC. As a producer based in Paris, France for Mike Wallace, Chris worked on investigative stories and features throughout Asia, Africa and Europe. He uncovered waste and fraud at the United Nations, police brutality in Minneapolis and deadly safety violations by contractors in Chicago. His journalism awards include two regional Emmys and a national award from Investigative Reporters and Editors.
Chris is an adjunct professor of journalism at Emerson College in Boston.
